Nic Robertson, owner of Caribou Log Homes LLC, got his start when he was 16. Nic worked for his father’s construction company and can draw on a lifetime of experience. He first learned how to build log home shells and staircases. While other contractors were busy assembling cookie-cutter stairs, Nic painstakingly cut and fit each wood rung into its adjoining support log using an age-old method of mortis and tendon he mastered along the way. Paying attention to detail has always been his forte.
Now, more than 30 years later Nic has formed a sister company (Maple Ridge Construction Management LLC with a b-100 contractors license in Utah and with his associates
Nic builds log homes from the ground up for clients all over the country. His mission is to create one-of-a-kind high-quality houses, complete with custom features for each client and friend he meets.
